Contact Carl Adey (Somerset and Devon)

My name is Carl Adey and I have run the Somerset and Devon franchise since 2000. Our work is focused within the amenity, private, commercial and conservation sectors. We have customers ranging from private landowners, homeowners, sports clubs, local and national government agencies, schools, colleges and land agents.

We advise our customers on the most appropriate and cost effective method of dealing with their weed problems. Experience and knowledge is a major factor in a successful treatment. Knowing when and how to apply the appropriate product can speed up eradication, saving time and money.

We have equipment for all sizes and types of work; from knapsacking small areas to sprayers suitable for larger areas such as paddocks and sports fields. Our equipment is specifically designed for the types of areas we work in and is professionally maintained, assuring accurate and precise application of products.

Whether you have weeds growing on hard surfaces or grass, moss and algae on any hard surface or moss on your lawns, all these problems can be solved.

Invasive weeds such as Japanese Knotweed, Himalayan Balsam, Montbretia or Giant Hogweed (to name the most well known) can be successfully treated if the correct timings and control products are adhered to and used. Talk to us if you have an area that is overgrown or out of control, making the right management decision at the onset will yield better long term results and save you money.

"I am writing to thank your staff, company and yourself for a First Class service at The University recently. Your staff were all very professional and efficient at what they did, the work was completed with no fuss and a great deal of enthusiasm. Furthermore they kept us informed of any issues or problems that had arisen during the day.
All in all I would have no problem recommending your staff and company to other grounds managers with whom I am in contact."
